About Linkpoint
The Full Story
"When a child feels safe and connected, they can learn. Without that foundation, nothing else sticks."
– Dr. Bruce Perry
At LinkPoint Family Connections, safety is foundational, and careful observation fulfils an important role, but it is genuine connection that transforms a child’s life. Grounded in evidence-based practice, our trauma-informed professionals understand that a sense of safety and trust develops through small, consistent interactions. The kind that quietly support a child’s sense of self and belonging.
We ensure both safety and connection through:
-
Emotional Safety: A stable, low-stress environment.
-
Clear Boundaries: Safe, pressure-free interactions.
-
Guided Engagement: Child-focused bonding.
-
Professional Support: Modelling respect and positivity.
Research shows that strong, supportive relationships help children feel secure and develop resilience. Every positive interaction builds trust, belonging, and confidence. We create opportunities for meaningful connections and conversations that foster growth and lasting change when beneficial.
"When we strengthen connections, we strengthen lives."
– Dr. Brené Brown
Whether it's a short-term visit or a longer journey, we’re here to help create moments that matter.

Our Values

Pam Evans
Founder
Pam has worked extensively across child protection and family welfare, with a diverse background spanning government, non-profit, and commercial sectors. As Director of LinkPoint Family Connections, she leads a trauma-informed supervised contact service focused on child safety, meaningful interactions, and objective, developmentally informed observations to support case management and legal decision-making.
Her career began as a frontline caseworker, developing expertise in risk assessment, family dynamics, and child safety. She has since trained professionals in forensic child interviewing, managed therapeutic residential care services, led throughcare prison programs, collaborated on Aboriginal peer support parenting programs, and conducted foster care and parental capacity assessments.
Pam’s work emphasises the significance of safe, supported connections for children, recognising how stress, trauma, and healing manifest in relationships. At LinkPoint, she and her team carefully observe and document behaviour, ensuring their insights contribute to informed decision-making and long-term wellbeing. Her mission is to foster authentic relationships, support meaningful connections, and provide clear documentation that reflects a child’s experience.
